The “Crown,” that essential watch component used to wind, set, and adjust, symbolizes our hands-on approach to the watch world, while also representing the authority and achievement we celebrate in our community. “Caliber” speaks to the intricate movements that power timepieces and the high standard of character we seek to inspire and showcase.

We are a premium editorial platform that serves as the bridge between serious watch collectors and curious enthusiasts, expanding the conversation beyond technical specifications. We cover the timepieces and the people who make and chase them, though we rarely stop at the dial. The industry keeps widening, and we widen with it, following watches out into the larger world that surrounds them.
Founded in Atlanta in 2013 as a marketplace for pre-owned luxury watches, it was acquired by European Watch Company in 2024 and relaunched as a digital magazine in February 2026. Crown & Caliber is an editorial publication, no longer a watch marketplace.
